What makes this dog special?
“This dogs never sits still, was never hurt in her life, I have never seen her tired ever, barks at other teams in front of her. Is the ultimate team cheerleader. If the speed is too slow for her, she barks and cheers everybody else on. Has great feet and an incredible appetite. I’ve never seen her turn down a meal.Besides her qualities, she gets along with everybody very well, is really sweet to people and never leaves my side when we go for free runs. We have a special bond between us. She’s the one dogs I sometimes seem to be able to talk to and she translates everything I tell her to her teammates.I wish she’d never age…”– Sven Haltmann
(Note: Sockeye had a stiff shoulder before the race start, so Haltmann left her home in Willow this year.)
