Iditarod Insider crews reported minutes ago that Paul Gebhardt was lost on the trail from Ophir to Cripple.
In another related story, 54 year old Dee Dee Jonrowe did find her way to Cripple but was totally caught off guard to find out that she was the first to arrive there.

Musher Joe Garnie, (Bib #28) scratched at 11:15 am this morning at the Rainy Pass Checkpoint in the Alaska Range. The 54-year-old veteran Iditarod musher from Teller Alaska scratched citing health issues with his team. Garnie had thirteen dogs on has team at the time he decided to scratch.
