IditaRider Auction Closing Instructions

The IditaRider Musher auction will begin closing at noon, (AST) this Friday.

Mushers will be listed from the highest bid to the lowest bid. The order will be arrange several times and the last time at 11:30 AM (AST). Once the bidding begins, remember to refresh your screen to see any bidding changes made.

If a bid is placed on a musher who is ready to close, the clock will hold the auction open for another three minutes. Any bid placed after that time will continue to keep the auction open for another three minutes until there is no more action.

Some mushers have been closed early. These have been set aside to provide rides for our Presenting Sponsors. We have also set aside mushers to replace any sled that does not qualify to be in this years’ Iditarod. (A few mushers still have to run one more race.) You the bidder can be assured there will be a sled for you to ride in, if your musher is one not to qualify or withdraws before race time.
