IDITAROD XXXVIII GETS A BOOST!

Four-Time Iditarod Champion Jeff King presented the Iditarod Trail Committee with a $50,000 check on Monday, January 4th, 2010.  To find out more about the reason the Denali Park Alaska musher donated to the 2010 Iditarod purse, click here.

The Iditarod Needs Your Help

In another reflection of our economic times, during the past 12 months the Iditarod Trail Committee has experienced a loss in funding of nearly $1 million dollars. In a recent press release Iditarod Trail Committee Board President Lee Larsen asked all Iditarod race fans to consider a number of different opportunities to help “galvanize our organization and the mushing community.” Click here to find out how you can help keep “The Last Great Race” moving forward in 2010.
