Looks Like the Finish Line is Ready!

The Chute on Front Street is ready for the first musher to arrive. Prognosticators predict a late morning-early afternoon finish!

Lance Is In White Mountain!

Lance Mackey is on the last leg of a journey that has been challenging and rewarding.  The Two Time Iditarod Champion arrived in White Mountain at 6:05 (Alaska Time) this evening.  He is now in the process of resting his team and preparing each member for the last 70 miles of this journey to Nome.  For Lance it’s familiar territory.  He’s in White Mountain first.  It’s been that way for the last two years. Now he’s on his third journey in front of the field.  His destiny is Nome.  He’ll begin that journey at 2:05 am March 18th.

The Live Start Will Be Streamed…

Beginning thirty minutes prior to the first musher’s arrival on Front Street in Nome. You can see every bit of the finish on the Insider. Click here to find out more!
