Inspired by the visit of an Iditarod Traveling Quilt, Ms. Prather’s students in California have created their own classroom quilt. Each student designed and created a square. The squares were sewn together to create the classroom quilt.
Over the next few months, this quilt will do what our Iditarod Traveling Quilts do. This quilt will travel from school to school in their own school district.
