Hello! My fourth grade class and I are looking forward to tracking the upcoming race and we are excited about blogging to you as we follow the mushers and teams! We will be eagerly following from Dalton, New York!
Hi Mrs. Privitera’s 4th grade class, Have you picked your mushers yet? You are going to have a great time following the race. Thanks for writing and have fun. Gypsy
He is COOL!
hey zuma do you know how long the iditarod is ?
Hi Dustin!
We like to say that the Iditarod is 1,049 miles because it is a long race (about 1000 miles) and Alaska is the 49th state. You can learn more about the trail and how long the race is by watching the GPS Tracker on the front page of the website, http://www.iditarod.com
Lots of Tail Wags,
Zuma
Dear Gypsy,
Thanks for writing. Gypsy
My class is very interested in the community challenge that Mrs. Andrew’s Class in Pelham New Hampshire has.
We would also like to have you come to visit our school if you could find the time. We are at Paul Smith Elementary School in Franklin New Hampshire. Our second grade has been tracking and doing reading incentives for the Iditarod for quite sometime. Mrs. Doucette, our assistant, even went to Alaska in 2007 and met Huge Neff and his dawgs!
Thank you!
Mrs. Davidson
Hi Mrs. Davidsons class, I live very close to Franklin and would love to come and see you. My human says I can email you later to see if we can work something out. I love to go visiting. I really love the hugs and belly rubs I get
