I think all of these mushers did a good job of doing the eight traits of the Iditarod and showed great determination.
In school I studied about habits of mind, and the one that reminds me of determination is one called Persistance. It is a very good one.
The Determation article was a good story.I think Determination would go good with the Habit of Mind persistence.Who ever wrote this is a good writer, and used good words.
In our school we study Habits of Minds, for example Persistance, Taking a Responsible Risk, or Precision of Language. Rachel Scdoris was amazing by doing the Iditarod while being blind. I am a boy but in my opinion, Libby Riddles was the first woman to finish the Iditarod. That’s amazing.
I am really impressed about Rachel wining the iditarod. When rachel finished the race I bet everybody was shocked. eVEN before i read what determination ment i still knew i had determination.
You know what I think about DETERMINATION,I think I would love if I had DETERMINATION!I
will work on that.
One time I used determination was when I got flipped over someone’s shoulder in a wrestling tournament.I never stopped wrestling. I have a wrestling tournament tomorrow and I will be aggressive and do my best.
what kind of dogs do you have?

Dear Sanka,
Here are a couple of questions.
Are you a different kind of dog than the other K-9 reporters?
What does it mean when you “scratch” from the race?
Does your owner like you being a reporter?
