Diamond Willow is the story of a twelve year old girl, Willow, who wants her parents to understand that she is growing up.  She loves to mush dogs.  Willow convinces her parents to let her drive the dog team to her grandparent’s house— all by herself.  The adventures that follow and the lessons learned are important lessons for readers 0 – 100.

  1. I read Diamond Willow to our wonderful second grade class. My students loved the hidden messages inside of each diamond. We used these messages to predict what would happen in the story. We love Roxy! Go Girl!

  4. My class and I read Diamond Willow. It was a heart braking story. My favorite part was when they told Willow about Diamond.Roxy was my favorite dog.

Hi me and my class mates read your heart warming story called Diamond Willow we loved your awesome book!I loved when Willow stood up for Roxy because she did not want her to die and she did not.Roxy was the best character i thought and Willow was a great owner she took care of Roxy and did lots of wonderful things for her.Roxy and Willow were born to be together forever!!!!!!

Hey I am a big fan of your website I have sent a message before about the heart warming story i am serious it starts out good when it gets to the middle it is scary but when it gets to the end it is confusing you said that when Diamond died that Roxy was born i did not understand that but now i do.I love the book Diamond Willow it is a great book.I think Roxy is a great dog and Willow is a wonderful owner how she stands up for Roxy and all.I love your book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. diamond willow is a hart warming story my class mates and I red it at reading in the middle it was vary sad at the end my class cried I love reading diamond willow. I love Roxy. You go girl.
